Volunteer With Us!

As we plan our 13th Annual PAWS FOR LOVE Gala to be held on February 11, 2012 in Santa Rosa, we are welcoming more volunteers to assist us in hosting this important fundraiser. Another successful evening of Fun, Food & Wine, Art & Auctions will provide much-needed funds to help the animals whose lives depend on the resources we provide.

Please attend our next Volunteer Meeting at the Church of the Roses, 2500 Patio Ct., Santa Rosa (across from Lucky's, Montgomery Village) on Saturday morning, Dec. 10th from 10 -11 AM. Refreshments will be served.

It’s Not Too Late to Make a Date
For your Furry Fauvist to Paint!

You have seen them....those fantastic paintings created by dogs and cats for the annual Paws for Love art gala held each February in Santa Rosa! But…can your pooch paint? The answer is "WOOF!"… that means "YES!"

Now and then we offer an opportunity for your dog to show off his or her artistic genius! On Saturday, November 12th, we will have just such a day! From Noon until 3 PM ~ and for a small donation of $25 ~ Ellyn will be on hand to assist your Best Friend in creating an original painting especially for you. If your pet is a rescue-animal, or was been adopted from a shelter, we will also create an additional painting to frame and hang in the 13th Annual Paws for Love art exhibit in February.

This special painting session will take place at the Church of the Roses, 2500 Patio Ct., Santa Rosa (near Montgomery Village across from Lucky’s). For more information, please contact Ellyn by phone at 209.795.4575 or through email.

Paws for Love - Past Events On September 10 & 11, 2011, Paws for Love offered Paw Painting with dogs at the Pet Food Express BAY AREA PET FAIR & ADOPTATHON at the Marin Center in San Rafael. For a mere $25 donation, participants took home an original 8"x10" painting created by their cherished pet! Joining the paws in the paint was celebrity guest artist Tillman the famous skateboarding bulldog!

Paws for Love is presented by the Paws for Love Foundation. Proceeds from this gala event greatly benefit the animals of Sonoma County, the North Bay, and beyond. The Paws for Love Foundation provides resources and funding to shelters, rescue groups, and individuals dedicated to improving the health, welfare, and adoptability of unwanted and abused animals. Funds raised by this event are also used to rehabilitate adoptable animals by providing necessary medical treatment, food and training for animals in foster care programs.

We are now in the process of gearing up for our FEBRUARY 11, 2012 Paws for Love benefit. If you or your company donate $250 or more to this event, you will receive two free tickets to our next PAWS FOR LOVE Gala. You will also receive the Paws for Love Newsletter. Please note that your donations must be received before the cutoff date of December 31, 2011 in order to receive your free tickets.
