On Saturday June 12th, Paws for Love teamed up with FOPPIANO VINEYARDS for the 2nd Annual afternoon of paw painting, art, food, fine wines, prizes and doggone good fun! Admission donation was $20 per person, and dogs were admitted free. Proceeds benefited the Paws for Love Foundation.

There was PAW PAINTING with the dogs between 11 – 3, and FOPPIANO WINE TASTING throughout the day, with Paws for Love keepsake wineglasses to take home when the fun was over.

All dogs were welcome to participate in the "Vineyard Barrel Dash", a unique canine agility course. A BBQ picnic lunch of grilled sausages was also offered.

MaSnax was on hand to provide tasty dog treats, and art and books for the dog lover were available for purchase from The Painted Dog, and Laura Johnson.

Volunteers are needed for the 12th Annual PAWS FOR LOVE to be held on February 12, 2011. Paws for Love relies on the generosity of the many kind hearts who gather together to present this very special fundraiser. Your gift of time, whether it be a little or a lot, may mean the difference between life and death for an unwanted pet. We are looking forward to another spectacular evening of art, fine wine, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, auctions, and music - all to raise much-needed funds to assist the animals whose lives depend on the resources we provide.

We have a variety of jobs available - collecting auction donations around the County and hanging up posters prior to the event; setting up the auction tables; greeting guests and taking tickets the night of the event; assisting with the auctions as table monitors; or selling the unique animal-created art on our Gallery Wall. With food, wine, and entertainment filling out the evening, there are plenty of areas where your help is needed!

Paws for Love is presented by the Paws for Love Foundation. Proceeds from this gala event greatly benefit the animals of Sonoma County, the North Bay, and beyond. The Paws for Love Foundation provides resources and funding to shelters, rescue groups, and individuals dedicated to improving the health, welfare, and adoptability of unwanted and abused animals. Funds raised by this event are also used to rehabilitate adoptable animals by providing necessary medical treatment, food and training for animals in foster care programs.
